We’re celebrating our Key Club Seniors and we want to hear from you! All week long April 27 through May 1 we’ll be celebrating our seniors via social media. “Key Club has given me countless opportunities for growth, whether it’s making new friends, developing service projects, or becoming more confident in myself. One of my fondest memories was speaking at New Jersey’s fall Rally, where I really had the chance to connect with the district. I know that after high school, I’ll look back at my many Key Club moments and know that they truly shaped me to be the person I am today.”
“My most memorable Key Club moment was serving at a homeless shelter in Miami. I was with other Key Clubbers, and we taught kids there how to dance and got to know them. Both we and the kids we taught were so happy; I’ll never forget the feeling.”
“Reflecting on the past four years I have spent in Key Club, my proudest moment was retiring as the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District’s Bylaws and Policies Committee chair and then sworn in as my district’s director of Committees. In the fall of 2018, I was newly appointed as a committee chair, a position I never could have seen myself in. I had not really known what the district board was, and I had been focusing on service, primarily in my own school and community.
Being elected as the director of Committees for Wisconsin-Upper Michigan at our 2019 district convention has been the proudest moment of my high school and Key Club career. It’s given me the opportunity to lead on a level that allows me to impact and bring joy to so many more lives, and not just in my home, school and community. On the state level, I got a wonderful chance to develop committees and chairs through the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Executive Board. I cannot wait to bring all that I have learned through this experience in Key Club into Circle K International, knowing that I was able to grow as a person and meet some of my closest friends thanks to being elected into this position.”
“My proudest Key Club experience was getting to participate in Breakthrough. That experience changed my life. It taught me what it truly means to serve others, and it also showed me I don’t have to hold an elected position to serve or lead!”
“From the leadership I‘ve experienced to the friendships I‘ve made in Key Club, they’ve all left an everlasting impression on me. My proudest moment would have to be applying for and getting accepted into the Global Outreach Committee, where I‘ve now been working with incredible leaders across the globe who I have the honor of calling my friends. If Key Club has taught me anything, it was to take risks, and as years pass, I will always look back and be reminded of taking these risks and how they’ve gotten me to places I would’ve never imagined.”
“My proudest moment as a Key Clubber was when my high school held a competition with grades nine through 12 to see which grade could bring in the most perishable goods. After it was all said and done, everything was donated to our local food pantry. It was so cool to see how much food we collected and to know that no matter how small our school is we can do anything as a club from Minnesota-Dakotas.”
“My proudest moment as a Key Clubber was attending district convention my sophomore year. Wiregrass Ranch High School was able to bring over 30 individuals who truly got to see like-minded members. It was amazing to see everyone come together for the same cause and make a difference in the world together.”
“Graduating this year has caused me to reflect on my time as a member of KIWIN’S/Key Club. Serving as a lieutenant governor during the 2019-20 term has allowed me to learn lifelong lessons about service and leadership. However, I found that the most gratifying part of my time in this organization has been the members. My proudest KIWIN’S/Key Club moment was being able to represent my division at Fall Rally and see them earn awards that they worked so hard for. Seeing their proud faces and cheering them on was an opportunity like no other. I am more than grateful for my members and cannot wait to see what my division does this upcoming term! “
“I have been in Key Club for four years, and I have to say they’ve been the best years of my life! I served on the Georgia District board this year as Division 14 lieutenant governor. I have gotten closer to my home club, the clubs I was in charge of and my district. Thanks to Key Club, I found my best friend and my college roommate!“
“My most memorable Key Club moment was serving at a Kidney Walk in Griffith Park my freshman year. I was cheering people on with other Key Clubbers at the finish line, and the participants were thanking us for being there and cheering for them. That’s when I knew my love for volunteering was infinite, and that I found my “ohana” for the next four years.”

“My proudest Key Club moment was during my term as lieutenant governor. I held my first DCM by hosting a service project at a local homeless shelter, where we threw a birthday party for a little girl. We included games, food and as many gifts as we could get donated. Her smile still resonates with me to this day and is one of the primary reasons I am still so passionate about service.”
“I’ve had some amazing moments serving as an international trustee, but one of my favorite Key Club moments was when I was a lieutenant governor. I used to host school-based DCMs for fourth to eighth graders who were not achieving at their grade level. During my last meeting, a bunch of Key Clubbers and I donated toys, books and other valuables to the school’s gift shop, where the kids could exchange “money” earned in class for good behavior or performance for toys.”
“My proudest Key Club moment was being able to assist my peers who needed help intellectually or physically as they volunteered at a food packing event called Feed My Starving Children. Seeing the joy in their faces because they were making a difference in someone else’s life filled my heart, because that’s why I chose to be in Key Club: to serve and also know that the things I do can impact other people and the world.”

“I would say my most memorable moment would have to be my last year on the Georgia District board. I had the best year serving as the Secretary-Treasurer. I was able to make so many new friends! I even was able to meet my college roommate! Without Key Club, I would not have been able to meet her and honestly I don’t know what I would do without all of her support. I don’t think any other club or organization would have provided so many opportunities what I was able to do in Key Club!”
