November is rapidly approaching, and with it comes the best week of the year: Key Club Week!

Key Club Week is a special opportunity for clubs to showcase their spirit for community service. Each day corresponds with an activity that further promotes Key Club throughout your community. This year, Key Club week is November 4-8, and we would like to share some ideas to encourage your club to participate.

Monday: Show Your K!

Show your Key Club pride! This day acts as an opportunity to promote Key Club and show off your club’s spirit. Showcase your love for community service by having all your members wear Key Club merch. Publicize Key Club via your school’s announcements. Be sure to post all your strides and tag @keyclubint for the chance to be featured!

Tuesday: Invite and Include!

To expand Key Club’s impact, it is essential to recruit more community members to participate in service projects. This day showcases how Key Club is an inclusive and impactful organization. Host a “bring a friend” initiative during a service project or host a multi-club event!

Wednesday: Dare to Share!

Share your strides! During this day, we encourage clubs to post on social media for the chance to be spotlighted by the official Key Club accounts. Create a reel exhibiting a successful service project or ask members what drew them to Key Club and post their responses on one of your platforms.

Thursday: Random Acts of Kindness!

One kind act can change somebody’s life. Spread kindness throughout your school by encouraging random acts of kindness, from complimenting somebody’s outfit to creating care packages for teachers and janitors. Additionally, you can share kindness posters around your school and community.

Friday: Connect the K’s!

Key Club is a part of the Kiwanis family. Key Club is the largest high school service organization in the world, while other Kiwanis-family members cater to different age groups. Celebrate this day by collaborating with the local Kiwanis family groups in your area. Team up with local Kiwanis, Circle K International, Builders Clubs, K-Kids or Aktion Clubs for a joint service project or virtual event. For instance, your club can host a book drive with a K-Kids club or stage a beach cleanup with a Builders Club!

Although Key Club Week ends on November 8, the festivities do not cease! On November 9 at 11 a.m. ET, we will be holding the Global Engagement Rally, also known as GER. This year, Global Engagement Rally workshops will focus on helping students advocate for change in their communities. Register by November 7 at keyclub.org/ger.
