Noon–4 p.m.: Badge registration.
Noon–4 p.m.: Delegate registration and host committee desk.
7–8:30 p.m.: Opening Session. Kick off your convention experience by celebrating Key Club! You’ll hear from Key Club International President Kyle Hanson, celebrate district governors and hear an inspirational message from our keynote speakers, Paralympian Evan Austin and Olympian Laurie Hernandez.
8:30–11p.m.: Opening reception, pin trading and talent auditions. A highlight of every convention is the chance to meet Key Club members from around the world. Pin trading is a great way to break the ice and make new friends.
7:30–9 a.m.: Breakfast (provided).
8–9 a.m.: Delegate orientation. Members of the House of Delegates meet to review procedures.
9–10:15 a.m.: Candidate meet-and-greet. This is your opportunity to meet candidates for international office in person and ask about the issues that matter to you.
10:30 a.m.–Noon: Caucusing. Hear prepared speeches from candidates for international office and ask questions to help you decide who to support.
Noon–2 p.m.: Lunch on your own.
2 – 2:30 p.m.: Service project speaker. What is plarn and why is it our service project? Plarn recycles plastic bags into all-weather mats that provide portable comfort to those without housing.
2:30–4 p.m.: Service project work time. Create a plarn mat and make someone’s life a little more comfortable.
4–7 p.m.: Caucusing. More speeches. More questions (and answers).
6–8 p.m.: Dinner on your own.
8–9 p.m.: Caucusing. (We have a lot of candidates!)
9:30–10 p.m.: Student-led fellowship activities. It’s been a long day. Let’s have some fun!
7:30–9 a.m.: Breakfast (provided).
8:30–9:30 a.m.: Nominating conference. District representatives use caucusing results to narrow the field of international candidates.
9:30 a.m.–3:45 p.m.: Global Leadership Certificate Master Class. A special leadership track for those who have been working on the GLC.
9:30–10:15 a.m.: Workshop Block 1. Hear from your fellow students and Key Club partners in these engaging sessions. Stay tuned for more info.
10:30–11:15 a.m.: Workshop Block 2.
11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.: Leadership Luncheon. The third annual Litwack Legacy of Leadership will be awarded.
2–2:45 p.m.: Workshop Block 3.
3–3:45 p.m.: Workshop Block 4.
4–6:30 p.m.: Dinner on your own.
7–9:30 p.m.: Recognition Session. We’ll recognize the best of Key Club and hear from W.B. Sims, a former Key Club International president and now a national recording artist.
9:30–10:30 p.m.: Special concert with W.B. Sims and his band.
7:30–9 a.m.: Breakfast (provided).
7:30–8:30 a.m.: Advisor Breakfast. A special thank you to our Key Club advisors.
9–9:45 a.m.: Workshop Block 5.
10–10:45 a.m.: Workshop Block 6.
11–11:45 a.m.: Workshop Block 7.
Noon–2 p.m.: Lunch on your own.
2–6:30 p.m.: House of Delegates. Let’s elect Key Club International’s next board and vote on some important issues!
6:30–7:30 p.m.: Dinner on your own.
8–9:30 p.m.: Closing Session. We’ll present the prestigious Key of Honor and swear in the 2024-25 Key Club International Board of Trustees. Our final keynote address will be given by Rania Zuri, who was recognized as the youngest CEO on the 2024 “Forbes 30 under 30” for her work with early childhood literacy.
9:30–11 p.m.: Dance. What a weekend! Let’s celebrate.
