RANDOM THOUGHTS
Q: What's your favorite fall service project?
Kyle de la Cena
Simi Valley High School, California-Nevada-Hawaii District
A. Relay for Life. I’ve done it for four years. It seems like a lot of
walking, but it’s fun, you get to bond and you help with the cause.
Cecelia Ferguson
Tampa Bay Technical High School, Florida District
A. Buddy baseball. It’s a noncompetitive baseball tournament
for middle school and elementary school students who have
disabilities. Not only is it fun, but when you see their smiles,
it just melts your heart.
Kaleb Johnson
Headland High School, Alabama District
A. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. My reasons for helping The Eliminate
Project are probably different from everyone else. I had a baby
horse that died of tetanus. It wasn't a human suffering, but I still saw the effects of tetanus.
